Elections Applications and nominations are accepted beginning in May each year and elections are held in July. Election ballots are sent to each MU staff member to cast a vote. Nominees must be full time (75% or above FTE) permanent University of Missouri-Columbia, non-academic and non-Hospital staff members who have completed ONE year of continuous employment with the University by application deadline. The elected Council members will serve a three-year term beginning September 1, 2022. To nominate yourself or a staff member, please complete the nomination form.
