Staff Education Award

PURPOSE:
The MU Staff Advisory Council Education Award Program is intended principally to assist in personal and professional development by providing funding for classes/courses at accredited institutes of higher education. Programs from an accredited G.E.D. program are also encouraged.

Staff Council has allocated $500 for academic year 2009-2010, with $250 awarded for fall semester 2009 and $250 awarded for spring semester 2010. Deadline for Spring 2010 is 5:00 pm December 15, 2009.

APPLICATION PROCESS:
You must read, print and sign the Eligibility and Award Distribution Criteria document and include it with your application. Failure to include this document will constitute an incomplete application and your application will be rejected. If the application is for funding for more than one person, each applicant must sign the document.

Fill out the Education Award Application in its entirety. Two versions of the application are available below. The first link allows you to fill the form out on your computer in Word, print and sign; the second link gives you an application in Word to be printed and filled out by hand.
