Staff Advisory Council

Kathy Murray, the September Service Champion, is known to many across the MU campus for her devoted service to the students of the University. Her enthusiasm infects the Office of Student Life, inspiring others to do their best. Her respect of the students allows them "to grow in their roles on campus, both in their formal education and through a positive job experience." Kathy also concerns herself with the safety and well being of students and staff. She has helped orchestrate free pizza for students during PAVE (Pedestrian and Vehicle Education) events, and encourages everyone to be mindful of pedestrians and bicyclists as they drive.

Kathy resepect, guidance, and caring also extends to those with whom she works. She takes pride in the work her staff completes, and is the first to give credit where credit is due, but often neglecting to mention her own role. Kathy is "a great staff member and a great representative of the core values of MU."
